    Katie + Jim = Love

Katie & Jim are awesome… It is just that simple. They are fun, silly, & loving. They have great taste in beer, and they do not take them selves too seriously. They are my kind of people for sure. To say I am excited about their wedding is an understatement. For the engagement session we meet up at one of my favorites pubs in Portland, Bridgeport Brewery, and had a pint. From there we walked around the neighborhood and then hit a couple other lovely downtown spots. We had a great time laughing, telling bad jokes and laughing some more.

Here are a few of my favorites from our session:

Katie & Jim I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek. Your gallery is almost done. I am so excited to shoot your wedding here in just a few weeks time. I know it will be amazing!

As you know if you have read my blog before I love me some blog post challenges. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post I will throw in an 11×14 on the house for you. So leave some love people!

    Nathan is 6 months!

    I adore this family…

Are you ready for a HUGE list of links? It has been my pleasure to document this family for quite some time, so there are many of them. :)

First came the wedding, then the maternity session, then a hospital visit, then the first newborn session, then 6 months (& baby #2 announcement!) then a second newborn session (well I guess I never blogged that here is one below, more on facebook here if you like.)

So… just a few weeks ago it was my pleasure to capture this adorable family again. This time to celebrate baby Nathan turning two, and his lovely new smile.

    Enjoy!

Jamie thanks for being flexible and trekking out to the park with the kiddos. I just adore your boys! I will have the whole set done for you asap.

sweet violet & her growing family.

It is no secret that I love the redheaded babies, and that I love capturing beautiful pregnant mamas. So when the two combine into one session  you get a very happy photographer. When Leslie and I started talking about this session I knew it would be a fun one. She and her family have a great love of the outdoors, and all things colorful, so we found a lovely city park to capture them in. We lucked into a beautiful day, and some pretty scenery. Violet took a bit to warm up, but was a pleasure to capture.  Oh how I miss my own redhead in rainboots & tutus!

Here are a few of my favorites from our session.

Leslie & Wind thanks again for meeting me out at the park, and braving the back & fourth weather. I am so glad it worked out! Your little girl is darling, it was great to meet all of you. I will be done with the gallery shortly, for now I would love to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post, I will throw in a darling set of brag books on the house! So leave some love people.

    a playdate in the park

It will come to no surprise to people who know me when I say I love the feisty ones.

Don’t get me wrong, when kids take it easy on me during a session I am a happy girl, but sometimes when the small ones make it hard I take the challenge to heart. Below you will see one of the most adorable sister/brother pairs ever. These kids are stunning, sparkling eyes, sweet smiles, killer giggles, but this little dude made me work for it no doubt.  As hard as he made me work, I loved every second of it, and it made each smile I captured that much sweeter! Aside from little man’s hilarious antics, the whole family was wonderful to work with. I had a great time, and ended up with some lovely photos.

Here are a few of my favorites so far…

Marci thanks again for meeting me out with the kids. It was lovely working with your whole family! I hope you enjoyed the sneak peek, I will have the whole gallery up for you very soon. For now I would love to throw down a little blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little post, I will throw in a set of darling little brag books. So leave some love people!
