Sometimes you know instantly that you click with a potential client. When Genovieve & I first sat down at her favorite NE Portland tea-house to chat about weddings I knew I would like this couple. She talked about her wedding, what was important. She talked about her sweet & handsome fiance who she was madly in love with. She talked about the importance of her family & cultural traditions. After two hours and lots of tea I knew I would love this couple. So just a few weeks ago we met up again for engagement photos. I finally got to meet the brilliant/sweet/handsome Jonathan & take their photos, and see the two love birds together. They were nothing short of adorable! We has so much fun romping around Powells, the pearl and even a bit of downtown. Even when the rain thew us inside the lovely Hotel Monaco we had a good time.

G & J thanks again for meeting up with me and being so fun to point a camera at. I am SO excited to capture your wedding day, and meet the entire family. I know the big day is going to be amazing. For now I would love to offer you a blog comment contest. If you can get 30 people to leave a comment on this little post I will throw in an 11×14 of an engagement photo on the house. So leave some love people!

The Moran family is one of the sweetest, kindest, soulful families I have ever had the privilege to work with. I won’t get into the long story, but for many reasons they are very close to my heart, so when they called to set up a maternity & newborn session for their latest baby I was beyond excited. It is such an honor to capture this important time in peoples lives, and such a privilege to be a small part of a families story. We had a great time catching up, talking about babies, toddlers, home improvement & all things parenthood. I am so happy to share a few of the images we created.

I can not wait to meet your sweet baby boy, and capture all of you together. I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek. I will have the whole gallery up for you shortly.

yet again I was asked to come capture some images of a trunk show the lovely AniA Collection Bridal Boutique. I am not going to lie, spending the say with these lovely ladies checking out pretty girls trying on dresses was a pretty fun day at work. This show was for the designer Watters. They gowns were STUNNING, and there was some seriously beautiful brides in attendance. It was a fun day, and to top it off the brides got to handle some stunning bouquets by Stephanie of Petalos floral & event design, and hair & makeup by the lovely Kirstie Wight.
Here are some fun images from the show:
