    Adorable Arlo

    Sometimes it just clicks.

    A beautiful baby

    A loving & sweet family

A stunning home with great light

And decor & textiles that make you swoon.

Sometimes it just clicks, and this was one of those times.

I met up with the F family to capture baby Arlo in his newborn stage. Being slightly older than my average newborn I did not know how the session would go, but man he was good for me! He is sweet, gentle and over the top adorable. The was also lucky enough to be born into a stunning Portland home filled with good art and fun textures. His room alone made me swoon. :) I am SO looking forward to watching Arlo grow over this year and getting to know his whole family more.

Here are some of my favorite images from our time together.

Meaghan & Ben thanks again for having me into your home. Your precious little boy was a pleasure to capture. I had a great time chatting with you two as well. I am so looking forward to working with you all over the next year. This time next year lion coat! I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek. I will have the whole set for you very soon. As new clients I would be happy to offer you a fun little blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post I will throw in a darling set of little brag books on the house. :)

    Allison + Erin = Love

Allison and Erin are so fun to work with. We met a few weeks back on a cold misty morning for their engagement session. We picked the train station due to it’s significance to the couple and had a great time. Erin is in the Navy and spends lots of time communing back and forth to Portland via train to visit a certain pretty lady. The train station is significant because it means welcome home and travel safe in so many ways. These two are starting a beautiful life together, and it only seemed fitting we captured a big part of that journey with the train station as our backdrop. :)

Like I said these two were so fun to work with. Erin’s eye brows have some truly amazing character no doubt, but beyond that their love is so clear and honest it was really my honor to capture it. I am SO looking forward to capturing their wedding this next September.

    On to the photos right?!

Allison & Erin thanks again for braving the cold to come out and meet me. I just loved spending time with the two of you, and getting to know you both better. I am so looking forward to pointing my big camera at your wedding. :) As new clients I would of course love to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post I will throw in an 11×14 on the house! So leave some love people.

    Cute little Claire

Sweet little Claire came to see me in the studio not too long ago, and was a pleasure to point my camera at. She was sweet, sleepy, curled up and above all adorable. I just love newborns, and she is the perfect example of why. Newborns don’t care about my schedule, or about posing for the camera, they just want to sleep, eat and be loved. And really isn’t that what life is really about? Sweet little Claire is a very loved little princess too. Her Mom & Dad were clearly so in love with this little lady, and I could see why.

Here are a few of my favorites from our time together.

Gah those little fog leg booties just kill me! Katie thanks again for coming down to the studio and sharing your sweet little Claire with me. She is a doll, and you all are super sweet together. I had such a nice time just chatting with you all. As a new client I would of course love to offer you a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a set of cute little brag books on the house. Perfect for showing off a cute little girl you might know. ;) So leave some love people!
