    Xander, Daria & Dallas 2011

Xander just keeps getting cuter, it is kind of ridicules. I first met this little dude when he was a beloved bump in his beautiful mama’s tummy, then a perfectly sweet newborn, and then last year as he was turning into toddler. Well Xander is back and bigger, brighter and even more adorable. Xander was a little spit fire for me, not stopping for a second of our session. He was also hilarious and told me stories about the ants & leaves. Not a shocker as his Mama is one of Portland’s best story tellers. He is also crazy antithetic and fast like his papa. He is one lucky boy, and very much beloved by his family. We played around the yard of their beautiful new home in SE Portland, and took a walk in the neighborhood. Again this little dude kept me running, but it was a great evening. Really with a smile like his I am happy to keep running.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Daria & Dallas thanks again for having me into your home to capture your family yet again. Your little dude is over the top adorable, and turning into such a sweet little boy. The love you all share is infectious! I had a great time yet again, it has been a joy to watch him grow. As always you know me, I love a good blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post I will throw in some darling brag books on the house. So leave some love people!

Heather & Kenneth: love in Seattle

I love it when clients take me on a tour of their lives. It is always fun to capture people in their elements, weather it is their home, neighborhood, a favorite park. I love a good personal touch. Some times it ends up being an entire city. Last month a lovely couple showcased Chicago in front of my lens, this month it is Seattle! As my kiddos get a little older I am able to travel more for photography and I LOVE it. Heather and Kenneth were kind enough to show me the beautiful city of Seattle through their eyes. We had a great time exploring the famous Pike’s place market, Belltown area, the beautiful Olympic Sculpture garden and harbor-front. All these places have special meaning to the couple so it was extra fun to hear the personal stories that went along with each location. We also lucked into some great weather & beautiful sunlight.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Heather & Kenneth, thanks again for having me up to your neck of the woods and showing me how beautiful Seattle can be. I am so looking forward to capturing your wedding here in just a few short weeks! The whole gallery will be up shortly as well. And of course as new clients I would love to throw in a blog comment challenge for you. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post you will receive a 11×14 on the house. So leave some kind words people!

    princesses in the sunlight

First time I had my camera pointed their way it was to capture a darling newborn, then they came back for family photos with a sweet pair of curly haired girls. When the M family is back and those girls are even more adorable than ever! This time we shot in the hills near their home that they will soon be moving from. It is always bitter sweet moving, leaving memories but off on a new adventure. I am excited for these guys, and so happy I was able to capture some memories in their old house.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    Krystal + Matthew = Love

Krystal & Matt are my kind of couple. Up for anything, always laughing, and never taking them selves too seriously. When we talked about an engagement session Krystal said she wanted something downtown, but still fun and warm.  We ran around the north end of Portland downtown, hopping into some of our favorite spots and catching the beautiful sunset. After an evening with I am so excited to capture their wedding in just a few weeks time!

Here are a few of my favorites:

    and then there were four

Is it possible to fall in love with an entire family? If so the Allen family has a chunk of my heart. First there was a bump, then there was a curly haired newborn, then a toddler full of personality. Another year then a he was sweet faced little dude of 2 years, then just recently we had a 3 year old with talks of a baby sister in Mama’s tummy.  Well now there are four, and the newest addition is just as sweet  & feisty as her big brother. Miss Jordyn was a joy to point my camera at. The love between her and her big brother killed me too. As the mother of two that special bond is always a favorite to capture. :)

Here are some of favorites so far:

Julie & Vince thanks for having me down again to capture your family. I am just SO happy for you all. Your little curly haired girl is just perfection. It was great to see Mr. J in his element too. I hope you all are enjoying your family of 4 and getting used to the craziness that is having 2 kids. Again I could not be happier for you guys. I will have the whole gallery done very soon here. For now lets throw out the customary comment challenge shall we? If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a set of brag books for you all. :)

    So leave some love people!
