From my engagement session with the super fabulous Mike & Jody. I will be shooting their wedding tomorrow actually! Up from San Francisco I had not had a chance to get the two of them in front of my camera before this week. We had a great time getting to know each other and acting like goofballs in downtown Lake Oswego. I am sure the wedding will be fantastic!

I had an absolutely fantastic time with Mary & Sara a few weeks back. Not only are Mary & Sara two of the nicest ladies I have ever met, but they also have this way about them. This way of speaking to each other and to others that just makes you smile. They are the kind of people that just put you at ease and make you smile. It was clear from moment one the love here was strong and pure, and it was my pleasure to capture it on their big day.
The wedding was beautiful and intimate on a beautiful September morning in the Portland Rose Gardens. The reception was fun and lighthearted held at the super fun Oregon Zoo. The super fantastic Zoo staff even let us in early that morning to do portraits around the animal viewing areas! How cool is that! Big props to my right hand lady Kacy for the assist on this one. Some of the photos you see below were taken by her.

How is it already October? When did that happen?!
Well the leaves are falling, the nights are getting cooler, and that means the holidays are just around the corner! I have had quite a few pre-holiday sessions already this year, and many more on the books. If you or someone you know want family photos in time for the holidays now is the time to call me. My calender is getting full, I would hate for anyone to miss out this year. 
One of my favorite parts of the pre-holiday rush are holiday cards. These cards are a fun creative outlet for me, and always print beautifully. Take a look at a few I have been working on!
