    Emery is one!

Just last week I had the pleasure of hanging out with Kristi, Robert and Emery at one of my favorite spots in the entire Portland area. McMinnaminns’ Edgefield is a fun place to hang, especially with an adorable One year old & her cute family. We had a lovely time walking the grounds and talking babies. You see miss Emery is not only just turning One, a huge deal, but she is also going to be a big sister this winter! Exciting stuff. Mom Kristi wanted to celebrate this fun time of life with a photo session in a fun place, of course I was thrilled to be the one to capture it.

Here are a few of my favorites from our time:

Miss Emery is so cute and full of personality!

She is also quite a family of her Daddy, check out the smooches here. :)

The whole family is lots of wiggly giggly fun, the wiggling was mostly on Emery’s part of course.

At Edgefield in one of the gardens we spotted a red door that Miss Emery fell in LOVE with. She could have spent hours opening and closing the thing. It cracked me up, but man we got some good smiles!

Check out that smile! This one might be my favorite of the whole lot. :)

The whole family got in on the red door action.

Miss E is also a fan of the puddles can you tell!

Again that cute smile kills me. Here is the birthday girl with her favorite blankie. I love her wiggly toes here.

    Weeee!

And one last shot of the whole family. So cute.

Kristi & Robert thanks for having me along to “your spot” and sharing your darling girl with me. She was a joy to capture. I hope you love your sneak peek so far. I will have the whole set for you very soon! And of course as new clients I have to throw down the blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little blog post I will throw in a cute little wallet brag book on the house! So leave some love people.

    Jaime & Datton Day Three

Are you loving all the Jaime & Datton photos on the blog this week! Again I felt so privileged to capture this extraordinary event for this wonderful couple. After 3 days of shooting I really got to know these two, and clearly had a wonderful time. It is not often I get to spend so much time with family and friends as well, everyone was so lovely and welcoming. Also I have to give a huge shout out to Joel Bock for being my right hand man both Thursday & Saturday for this event. Some of the photos you see below were captured by him (Even one of him if you look close!).

Today I want to feature the reception! Back out at the beautiful De Armonde Garden Estate in Hillsboro. This day was the reception, so the whole venue was set up with delicious details, beautiful flowers, and even some cute little garden gnomes (Jaime has a thing for them, how cute is that)!

Here are a few of my favorites:

Once again Jaime and Datton thank you for having me out to capture your celebration. I will have the whole gallery for you very soon. Friends & family reading feel free to leave a comment below if you would like gallery access once the whole set is ready!

    Jaime & Datton Day 2

As promised yesterday I am back today with more images from Jaime & Datton’s amazing wedding. The event was a 3 day extravaganza of epic proportions. Yesterday we visited the beautiful ceremony. Today I want to show off some images from the beautiful Vietnamese Ceremony that took place at the home of Datton’s parents. Though it was packed, it was beautiful and intimate. Again I felt very  honored to witness this beautiful tradition.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

More again soon, next up the reception!

Day one we spent at the incredibly beautiful DeArmonde Garden Estate. It was a small elegant ceremony, perfect for this intimate couple and close family. I was honored to capture it for them. :)

    schumann et all…

    Meet the Schumanns…

They are mad fun. Though they are scattered around the country most of the time, once a year the entire clan gets together and converges on a little town on the Oregon coast. I have a feeling they kind of take over the place.  This year Miss Jen had me come out and take some photos of the family madness. I had a great time running around the in the sand capturing this fun family and ridiculously  adorable kiddos.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

The entire family in one place!

We also did some smaller family groupings.

Too much cuteness in this family.

Of course Grandma & Grandpa got in on the action with their only baby left at home Miss Cali. Once the family groupings were done we got down to the fun part. Playing!

Check out miss thing here. Being the only granddaughter she is quite the princess. So cute, that smile killed me!

Mama Jen has a handful with these two boys, but man are they adorable!

Speaking of boys check out these smiles! Such a handsome group of little trouble makers!

These two cracked me up, seconds after this they starting rolling over each other. :)

Is there anything better than baby toes in the sand? I think not!

There was also quite a bit of sand wrestling.

Grandpa S, or as my Husband & kids call him Uncle Mike!

Check out the father and son smiles here, We even adventured onto some crazy beechwood stuck in an inlet stream towards the hotel.

Jen thanks for having me out. It was super fun to see you all1 I hope you like you sneak peek. I will have the whole gallery for you very soon. Of course as a new client lets throw down the blog challenge! If you can get 30 people to comment on this post I will throw in a mini brag book for you guys. :) Leave some love people!
