    Welcome to the world Liam

I took these a few weeks back when I got the chance to visit Jamie & Will at the hospital shortly after the birth of the ever so adorable Liam. I shot his Newborn session earlier last week and want to share those very soon, but there is something about these that just make me smile. Thoes first few days in the hospital, when everything is so fresh and new. The reality has not hit, and this tiny little person is wham, the center of your universe. It is a magical feeling.

Here are a few shots from my quick visit.

Proper newborn photos to follow very soon.

    Kristen & Andrew are married!

You might remember the ever so lovely Kristin & Andrew from their super fun engagement session not too long ago. Well they are back on the blog this time to show off the wedding photos! These two were married the end of July at the beautiful Academy Chapel in Vancouver, WA. I am so excited to share these. The couple has been patiently waiting, so here is a big huge sneak peek just for them!

Kristin & Andrew thank you again for having me out to capture your special day. I had a lovely time meeting all of your friends and family. I will have the whole gallery for you very soon!

    Mary + Sara = Love

The week before last I had the chance to meet up with one of my lovely September wedding couples. Mary & Sara wanted to get some engagement photos in some of their favorite Portland spots before the big day. We had  great time tromping through the trees in Mt. Tabor park and then on the busy streets of Hawthorne Blvd. These two were sweet, funny and an all around treat to point my camera at. I am really looking forward to the wedding next month at the Portland Rose Gardens and the Zoo! Yes that is right the Zoo! Super excited for that part, yes I am a big kid I know. :)

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

Mt Tabor has these beautiful stands of old trees just perfect with a little sunset light and happy couple.

See I told you they were adorable.

    :)

After our time at the park we headed down to the busy streets of Hawthorne Blvd, I love Hawthorne, lots of art, murals and bright colors.

I just had to use this mural with the heart on top it was too perfect not too.

Clearly there is no shortage of love between these two.

    Purple for Sara!

    Orange for Mary!

Mary & Sara thanks again for your flexibility and for tromping around Portland with me. I have a lovely time getting to know you two better. I am really looking forward to your wedding just a few short weeks away! As usually I would love to throw down a blog challenge for new clients. If you can get 30 people to comment on this post there is an 11×14 in it for you. :)

    My new bff

    Meet Sofie…

She is sweet, funny, smart, beautiful, hilarious and a great hand holder. Yep I think she just might be my new best friend. :)

I had a lovely time hanging out with her mom & dad as well last week in the Sellwood district of Portland. A beautiful night with an adorable family, I really do have the best job ever. Sofie is a charmer, and was a doll in front of the camera!

Sofie’s whole family was just as lovely.

Clearly these three have no shortage of love for eachother.

Have I mentioned how cute she is?

Sophie also has some killer eye lashes, I love how this one shows them off.

She also has a little diva in her, I do believe this one cost mom and dad a chocolate milk.  A girl after my own heart.

We also got a few of Mom & Dad. Sofie art directed this one.

Like I said, we had fun!

Miss Sofie is a perfect mix of beautiful mom and hansom daddy.

And one last photo of the beautiful family all together in some delicious light.

Lisette thanks again for having me out to capture your darling little girl and whole family. I had a great time with all of you! I hope you have enjoyed your sneak peek, I have so much more to show you very soon! As a new client of course I have to throw down a blog challenge. If you can get 30 people to comment on this little blog post I will throw in a lovely little wallet brag book on the house. So leave some love people.
