    Meet baby Jonah!

Meet Mr. Jonah, he is just one of the cutest little dudes of all time. When his mommy contacted me to set up a newborn session we had to get things rolling quickly. Babies get bigger and change so quickly at this age, I did not want to miss out on the teeny tiny times with this little guy. I was lucky enough to meet this sweet boy and his parents late last week. We had a great time talking baby, snapping some photos and loving on Jonah.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

The cute little guy did not want to sleep for me. I pulled out all the stops and still no sleep, little bugger. Though I have to say he was quite mellow and sweet for me. Just look at those eyes, how could you ever say no to that face!

I love me some tiny baby bits!

Jonah did not know what to think of my silly hats, such a sweet pea.

Ok here he was just making fun of me. “you want me to sleep lady, yeah right!”

Clearly there is no shortage of love in this household. Just look at handsome daddy & beautiful mama.

Ah ha! He sleeps! A little mama’s milk and love from the parents did it. He looks so peaceful here. :)

The whole family is just lovely, again so much love for this lucky little guy.

Is there anything better than a sleeping smiling baby?

Even in his sleep he wiggled for me. :)

And one last photo of the little dapper fellow. Such a sweet baby.

Jodi & Tom thanks for having me out to capture your little one. He was a joy, even when he was being a little bugger. I had a great time meeting you all! I will have the whole set very soon. I hope you enjoyed the peek. And of course as new clients I like to throw down the comment challenge. If you can get 25 to comment on this little post you will received a sweet little wallet brag book on the house. :) SO leave some love people!

    Jenny + Matt = LOVE

Jenny and I started chatting about her wedding last year before my maternity leave. We made plans to meet and it ended up being just the two of us talking weddings over truffle french fries. One of my favorite ways to get to know people. :)   Jenny talked about her wedding, family, how she and Matt met. I was completely enchanted. :) The only piece missing was meeting this specific price charming, you see he was out of town on business and could not make the meeting. So this past week, on a beautiful evening in North West Portland I met up with Jenny and Matt to do some engagement photos. These two are so charming together, it was my pleasure to capture them as a couple in one of their favorite Portland spots.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    See how lovely they are!

Miss Jenny actually ran/biked/swam an iron man competition just 2 days before out session, impressive right!

The rose gardens have some beautiful paths and old brick work around.

I just love this grand staircase. I do believe there it was Matt’s job to make Jenny laugh, and he did all evening.

The light that evening was beautiful, almost as lovely as our couple.

The way he looks at her here is super sweet.

    :)

After a bit at the Rose gardens we headed down to the PGE park area to catch some city backdrops.

I loved the way the light was coming through the city here. This might be my favorite set.

We also had to use some of the on site sculptures, again I love playing with the light when i have a beautiful couple to work with.

PGE park was super quite that night so we got to roam the front where ever we liked, I loved this ivy covered wall near the front.

Jenny & Matt both have great smiles, it is almost too easy.

    weee!

And one last photo before the light left us.

Jenny and Matt thanks for meeting up with me and being up for anything! I am so looking forward to capturing your wedding in just a few short weeks time! I hope you have enjoyed the peek, I will have the rest for you very soon. And of course as new clients you are officially issued a comment challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this blog post, you will get an 11×14 on the house.

    And then there were 4

I have been taking photos of the Dobler family for some time now, you might remember them from way back when Miss Addy was a baby, or from when they moved into their beautiful new home, well I am back again, but this time for the newest baby D addition!

    Meet Little Miss Elly

    Isn’t she just a doll?!

The whole family is just adorable, and so very happy to have the newest member home and healthy.

Big sister is wonderful too, check out the gentle sweet kisses she is giving her baby sister.

Miss Addy is so stinken cute, really I did not think it was possible for her to get more beautiful!

And such a good big sister, so gentle and patient. I was super impressed!

Baby is a a lucky girl, I love this one of her getting some love from her beautiful mama.

Such an itty-bitty little thing too. Look at her in Daddy’s big strong hands. and Feet! Oh how I love the baby feet.

Little one did not want to sleep for us, so alert at just 2 weeks old. I love her eyes though, so beautiful.

but in the end she did cave and pass out for us. Oh her little lips kill me.

And one last photo of the little lady. Such a sweet girl.

Keith & Amy thanks again for having me out and letting me capture your family again. Your little ones are so darn sweet. Congratulations again to your family on the new addition. I am so looking forward to watching her grow. I will have the whole gallery very soon. But.. you know what time it is right? Comment challenge time, this time for a cute little brag book. Lets say 30 comments this time shall we, and see if we can break your time record? Ready, set go! Leave some love people. :)

Ruby Roo, how I adore you

You might remember miss Ruby from her darling newborn photos this winter. Well the lovely miss Ruby is back, and her cute parents too. As part of my “Baby’s First Year” collection I get the chance to see baby Ruby get bigger and even more adorable this year! For real people, I have the best job ever. :) We meet up at the beautiful Cathedral Park in North Portland for our 6 months session.  It was a beautiful warm morning, and Miss Ruby totally stole my heart with her smiles and wiggles.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    Gah she is so cute!

Ruby loves her Mama & Daddy. Cathedral park is such a beautiful place to shoot, funny while we were there we ran into another photographer shooting a family! But, and I am bias, but my clients are way cuter. :)

Check out that smile, such a cutie!

Ruby digs airplane rides with Daddy can you tell?!

    They are pretty funny together.

The whole family is great, again great job to Mary for coordinating everyones outfits! I love that orange sweater! Again did I mention I have the cutest clients, yeah I know.

    :)

Miss Ruby and her beautiful mama.

I think this one of the family is my favorite too. Check out the love here.
