because love knows no heights ;)

This past weekend I had the pleasure of spending the evening with Kristin & Andrew. I started talking to Kristin about her wedding last year while she was still out east for school and I was still huge with baby belly. Even via email I knew we were going to click. We talked wedding ideas, favor choices and tall men.  Well after months of emails, and my maternity leave I was super excited to finally meet Kristin & Andrew. Of course the day of our session it was absolutely beautiful outside, right up until we were scheduled to shoot. Hello Oregon liquid sunshine! Well lovely petite Kristin & tall handsome Andrew did not let the rain dash our plans. As I said, to them on our session day, they are hardcore! We heading to the small town of St. Paul and ran in and out of the rain to get some fun shots.

Here are a few of my favorites so far:

    FYI they are super cute.

    I loved Kristin’s wedge heels!

we had a little fun with the height thing  ;)

Check out Andrew’s adorable dimples. there was much smooching that day. Is there a better way to stay warm on a cold rainy day?

Check out these awesome blue tubing we found at the farm supply store. Andrew’s smiles are best when he is looking at his lovely fiance.

:) We also found some wonderful clover fields  to shoot in.   Again these two were pretty hardcore to go out into the damp fields, but man I am glad they did!

one last shot of our lovely couple. :)

Kristin & Andrew thanks again for meeting up with me and hanging out. I had a great time getting to know the two of you! I am super excited for next month. I will have the whole set for you soon! Of course as new clients you get to participate in a blog comment challenge. If you can get 25 people to comment on this here post, a beautiful 11×14 of the image of your choice is on me. So leave some love kids!

    Katie & Maggie are Awesome!

Last fall & Winter I participated in the “Giving is Awesome” program again. I love this program, it gives me a chance to give back, and meet new people I would have never normally met. Well it was hard to choose, but the winnings went to a fantastic mother & daughter by the names of Katie & Maggie. After waiting for a certain photographer to have a baby & recover we settled on a spring day and hoped for the best weather wise. It was a little rainy, but Katie & Maggie were hardcore and went for it anyway! We had a great time stomping around the PSU campus and getting to know each other. These two area sweet, kind and incredibly funny. With Maggie’s devious smile and strawberry blond hair I felt right at home hanging out with them. :)

Here are a few of my favorites from our session:

yeah they are no fun at all I tell ya.

    very serious all time time.

Miss Maggie may play tough, but she loves her mama something fierce.

Maggie has some seriously amazing sparkly brown eyes, and of course I am a sucker for freckles.

These two are just lovely together.

    :)

I am pretty sure Maggie was being a bunny here? I love Katie’s look, as a mom I know I have made that face many a time.

100% pure JOY from this one. I love these two photos, they really show what a hilarious little munchkin she is.

    hello matching cheekbones.

We even got Miss Candyce into the photos for a moment. Candyce is a former professor of mine who nominated Katie & Maggie. She pretty much rocks. :)

And one last photo of our lovely Mother & Daughter team.

Katie & Maggie thanks again for braving the rain and running all over campus with me (and Candyce for tromping along too!. I had a great time with you guys! I hope you like your peek I will have the whole gallery done soon and then we go to work on the book!
