simple & sweet at the courthouse

Kayla & Jason are throwing a big shin dig in the fall that I am super excited to be a part of! The location, the dress, the flowers, it will all be amazing. Even more amazing is the couple in the center of all of the planning. The ever so lovely Kayla & Jason.Kayla & Jason have been planning a lovely wedding in the pearl for quite some time now, but when a dear family member became ill with out missing a beat they put together a simple and sweet courthouse wedding to make sure he could be a part of their special day. Not every bride would be so flexible with her wedding plans, but Kayla is not every bride. Kayla & Jason are a wonderful couple. It was my honor to be there a few weeks ago to capture their special wedding. We did some photos prior to the courthouse wedding outside in beauful downtown Hillsboro. Here are a few of my favorites:

    our lovely couple.

Kayla & Jason are so sweet together, and fun too!

    :)

check out the stunning ring! The stone is from Jason’s Grandmother I believe.

I just love Kayla’s smile here.

and stylish, Kayla you know I LOVE your dress.

we lucked into some stellar weather.

and some beautiful flowers, a gift from Kayla’s sweet mother.

Below you can also see little sideshow of some more portraits and the actual ceremony:

Kayla & Jason thank you again for having me out to be a part of your special day! I am really looking forward to spending more time with you at your reception this fall!

    The lovely Brooks Ladies…

You might remember a super cute little girl in a certain bunny hat just over a year and a half ago… I know I do.

Well when her sweet grandma called to say she was in town and wanted to schedule a photo session for the three generations of Brooks Ladies I jumped at the chance. Miss Madeline has grown leaps and bounds since I have seen her last, and gotten even more adorable. Really it is no shocker with a stunning mama and beautiful grandma. I had a wonderful time running around the park on a beautiful spring afternoon with these ladies.

Here are just a few of my favorites so far:

Such beautiful ladies all three of them!

    Miss Maddy loves her Nana.

And she also loves her “bubbles” aka dandelions. We had a great time making wishes can you tell!

We found a super cool old barn for some photos too.

And one last one of the little princess!

Dear Brooks Ladies, thank you so much for giving me a call and working me into your vacation! I had a lovely time reconnecting with all of you. :) I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek, I will have the whole gallery ready for you ASAP. And while I am at it, why not start back with a blog challenge! If you can get 25 people to comment on this little blog post I will throw in a lovely little wallet brag book set for Mom & Grandma on the house. So leave some love folks! I know you have something to say about these lovely ladies. Oh and any visitors to my blog thinking of booking your own session, please see the post below for my “Griffin Special“. :)

    xo,
