Monthly Archives: March 2010

    slowly back in the saddle

Well hi there lovely blog readers, it has been a while eh! I am still technically on maternity leave around here, but I thought I would check in and say hello. The little guy is one month old today, oh how time flies! He is super charming, a great eater and a great sleeper. All around we are pretty lucky and so pleased to have him.

As far as emily g photography goes I am back to work slowly.

This month I will be working on some outstanding wedding albums, such as the love Jamie & Will above. :) I am also taking a few client meetings here and there. April I will be doing more client meetings and then start shooting again at the end of the month. I have already booked half of my weekends in May so if you are thinking of booking a spring session now is the time to schedule! In June I will jump back into weddings. This summer is almost completely fully booked with weddings, but I do have a few prime spots left for those last moment wonderful Bride and Grooms.  The couples I have booked so far are really fun, I am really looking forward to capturing all the amazing events I already have on the books!

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the amazing spring weather around here. More baby photos on the blog soon I am sure. :)

Why things have been so quiet around here…

As we announced below the emily g family went from 3 to 4 just over a week ago.

This have been great, intense, lovely, dramatic and magical. We are all adjusting and loving the addition of our little man. I have been trying to balance resting for my own recovery and capturing every moment of it with my camera. Lets be honest, the naps have won out most days, but I do have some images to show of our first week, a few from the hospital and a few from home.

I also had the wonderful advantage of knowing a few amazing photographer friends who were great enough to come over and do Griffin’s official newborn session. I will post a few of those another time.

For now just a few snaps of my own of my growing little family.

Again many thanks to all of you who have send lovely messages via email, facebook & twitter. I really appreciate all the love and each and every well wish makes me smile. :)
