It is August, it is still summer I know, but my brain is thinking FALL! I love the fall, the colors, the hats, the smells, the crisp sweater weather, I love it all! Yumm pumpkin pie… drool.
Another thing that has me dreaming of the fall is my calender. September, October & early November are typically my busy times for kids & family photos. All of you lovely folks want photos for gifts & holiday cards. I am starting to get calls now (I know it is summer but people plan ahead!) for fall dates and they are starting to fill up fast. I am half booked for September & October already, and I usually keep my November dates for rain reschedules & holiday printing deadlines.
So lovely blog readers, if you would like some beautiful family photos or kiddo pics call or email me now to reserve your spot. Once I am full I would hate to turn some of my regular clients away. Remember repeat clients get session fee discounts and referal credits.

If you are a long time blog reader you might remember Micah & Micah from their adorable engagement session last October. Man that was a long time ago, but I still love that session. Ever since working with these two the first time I have been looking forward to their late July wedding. After talking over the details I was so excited to see it all come together! Well they did not disappoint. Every detail of this wedding was beautiful & well thought out. I had a lovely time not only with these two, but with their entire families.
So here are a few of my favorites so far, this is only the first of a few posts. Way too much good stuff to keep it to one post!

Micha’s dress was over the top stunning, made even more beautiful by some family heirloom jewelry.
to say she was a beautiful bride is an understatement.
our groom was also quite dashing in his own right.
He also has the best time. I think here I asked him to do something GQ and ended up cracking him up. yeah that was the plan all along anyway.
Their first look was also fantastic. They were literally giddy with anticipation. You can tell these two are so perfect together.

M&M’s wedding venue has the most beautiful bamboo trees on the grounds. I just loved the way they let through just the right amount of light for us.
and one last one of our couple with some serious sweetness. I just adore these two!

Yes indeed it is yet another adorable little boy on the blog this week. I am so lucky to get to spend time with these cute little guys! Meet baby G. This little guy make me work for the session, no doubt about it, but his cute mug is so very worth it. We hung out last Sunday when the weather was still blazing and has some fun in the sun, man he was on the go. Mr. G was not quite sure about me, but I did manage to capture some cute smiles and some delicious dimples.
Anyway enough talk, on to the photos! Here are a few of my favorites so far:
Little G is lucky enough to have an auntie who owns a beautiful working farm near his home. We spent most of the session tromping around playing with shovels and throwing hay. I love this old swing. He is still a little small to do it on his own, but cute none the less.
such a serious little dude. Oh so interested in all the goings on of the farm. I am pretty sure here he is intently watching grandpa use the loud saw.

we even got him on the horse! Don’t you worry mama was on the other side holding him still. He LOVED being on the big beast, I am so impressed. I think my daughter would have been completely freaked out.
Check it we caught a smile! and those dimples, ugh to die for dimples.

Once again I need to thank Mr. Google for bringing me the following adorable family. The ever so charming Mr. S is 6 months old and over the top adorable! He is a tad small for his age as he made his entrance into this world a bit early, but what he lacks in size he more than makes up for in character. Seriously this little dude is such a charmer, I am so looking forward to seeing him grow up over the next year, and hearing about his first big adventure traveling. This little guy and family are heading off to Turkey at the end of the month, sounds like a long plane ride, but a fun trip to visit friends and family. I am sure with his stunning eyes and smile he will be charm his way in to every one’s hearts.
So on to the photos! We had a great time playing around the beautifully decorated living room and front yard.

I love it when baby’s just ignore me and play. You get a chance to really see their personality. This little guy was all about the wiggly toes. Cracks me up, oh that ages goes so quickly.
Poor little dude is currently battling molars, but still smiling! I just love his eyes here.
and the whole family! Aren’t they sweet.
We also got grandma in on the action. Seriously this little guy has no shortage of love in his life.
