heart melting boys

It is no secret I have always wanted girls, but after my weekend session with two of the loveliest little boys on the planet I might just change my mind. We will call them “Big Bro” & “Little Bro”, and they are nothing short of adorable. These two not only play well together, they are best little buds. Seriously it is not just the heatwave talking, these little guys stole my heart. We had a lovely time walking around downtown Newberg on a sunny Saturday morning. I could go on and on, lets get to the photos shall we?

Here are a few of my favs so far:

    GreeneBoysPeek-100

See what I mean? Over the top cuteness. They are so sweet together! Big Bro is incredibly patient, and little bro is in LOVE with his hero big bro. Seriously it was so fun to see them together.

    bigbroset

Big brother is such a sweetie, but also very pragmatic. He was all about the prize at the end of the session promised by mama.:)I just love his slightly crooked smile and big brown eyes. Such a little gentleman.

    GreeneBoysPeek-106

Little brother on the other hand is just wickedly cute. Those lashes are to die for right?! He was all about exploring every crack in the sidewalk just in case there was a bug hiding.

    flagboys

When we spotted this flag I knew we had to use it. Such an all American setting with two cute boys.  We were shooting in my little home town you know. They brought all the personality though!

    littlebroandbaby

Little brother and his “baby” I love getting little ones and their lovies. You know they will outgrow them so fast.

    toysset

The boys also love their little toys, it is amazing how much little boys can love a tiny piece of plastic.  Gah they are so cute together!

    GreeneBoysPeek-113

Such a serious face for a little man. I just love his intense eyes.

    GreeneBoysPeek-114

Someone else also has wonderful eyes. Such a cutie!

    GreeneBoysPeek-101

and one last one of the two little dudes together. They were just so great for me!

Jennifer thanks again for contacting me and trying out someone new to capture your boys. They were really truly a delight to have in front of my lens!  I am so looking forward to the family session in the fall as well. We have to break out the costumes for sure! I will have the whole gallery for you very soon! To tide you over how about a little comment challenge? If you can get 30 people to comment on this blog post I will throw in a mini wallet album for you an your hubby to take along to show off your cute boys. So leave some love folks. These boys so deserve it!

    Emily–
I am Jen’s “big sis”, and since I am also Auntie Leslie to these two fantastic little dudes I must say that you have captured them SO incredibly well. I love your approach and your unique eye for art in photography! Some of the pictures brought tears to my eyes, as I adore these boys and looking at the pictures is just like looking into their eyes when they are with me. ;-)
I would love to give you the opportunity to try to capture my two unique kiddos–maybe a fun, new challenge for you? Haha… If I could have pictures like this of my two precious kids, I would be thrilled!
Great work, Emily—(and great work Jen and Doug…)

Great pictures… I love the evolution that photography has taken. The toys, the tongues… this makes me miss when my boys were young and would actually dress alike. One has moved out and the other is going to be a 10th grader. EEK.
    These are great!

    Jennifer - July 30, 2009 - 10:52 am

Seriously….couldn’t be more pleased-you truely are an amazing artist! Thanks Em!
Where in the world did you find these cuties??!!heehee;)

    PaPaDave Taylor - July 30, 2009 - 11:14 am

    Wow~! wow and wow!!!!

When my wife and I got married I decided (hey, it was the seventies….guys used to get to decide stuff back then!)…..that we should start a family, and it should be four(4) boys………
We decided the first boy would be named David James, (David after me, and Jamess after my wonderful new father-in-law)…..
Long story short…..ALL three of my GIRLS got pretty tired of hearing the story how “they were almost named David James”……but NOW………I get to tell that story to all my grandkids…..(youger one pictured here)
You have totally captured the “magic” of these two guys, the older is the “perfect big brother” caring, loving, would do anything for his little brother………and the little one who totally adores his big brother.
These two guys love coming to PaPaDave’s for fun on the farm, walks in the woods, and sometimes just cuddling with grandma…..and sometimes even me!
They, along with all my other grandkids are also MY favorite photog subjects!
Great work Emily………..these guys should be in all your brochures!

This are GREAT Emily! What cuties :) .

    Wayne Greene - July 31, 2009 - 4:33 pm

These photos were done with exceptional quality. The backdrops all look natural and enhance the beauty of the photos. I love taking my own photos, however I can see the worth of having them professionally done like these. There is no comparison between these professional photographs and the usual kind you get from gifted and not so gifted amatures.
