Well the month of February is almost over so I guess it is time to bug you all one more time about my Birthday Month Special!
“Any session booked this month at the $95 rate will come with a $50 print, digital or collection credit.”
You can use this credit towards prints, albums, or digital collections! Sessions obviously does not need to be shot this month, just booked and paid for. If you know you want a session for your kids this summer, or a baby coming later in the fall now is the time to save a bit towards that session. It is my gift to you.
Just let me know asap.
Oh and I even have a fancy new way to book sessions.
Here are some simple instructions:
1. Go to my shopping cart here (or use the “shopping” link off the main page)
2. Pick the gallery “book a session with emily”
3. Click on the image of my cute little white logo at toward the bottom of the page.
4. Once you are on the page with the big logo look to the column on your right. Click on “select picture size”
5. from there pick the session you would like to book (Feb Special for example) add it to your “cart” & proceed with check out. You can pay either by credit card or sending me a check.
From there will will work together to find a date and time that will work with my schedule and your needs. I will also send contract etc following the session fee. If anyone has any questions let me know, I am happy to talk people through things.
The clock is ticking folks, only 4 days left to get in on this deal!

This past weekend I spent time with a fantastic couple, Krista & David. These two live in the great state of Alaska but are heading down here for their April wedding. We had spoken over the phone a few times but I was really excited to meet these two prior to their wedding. Let me tell you they made it worth my wait. I had a fantastic time, Krista and David are a riot. I was cracking up the whole time. I can already tell their wedding in a few months is going to be a fun one.
Here are few of my favorites so far from our session:
Krista & David are wine fans so we shot at the fantastic Rex Hill Vineyard. Such a great location.
This huge sculpture on the property was so cool.
See how sweet they are.
We even snuck into the main building for a moment. Again if you are ever in Yamhill County wine tasting Rex Hill is a must stop. Especially on a romantic Valentine’s weekend.
Krista & David it was a pleasure meeting the two of you. I am very much looking forward to your big day in April. I will have the rest of the set for you very soon. Enjoy!

I hope you are having a great February, aka my birthday month! I wanted to remind everyone that my February special is still in full swing. Any session booked this month (even if we end up shooting later on in the yea r) comes with a $50 print or album credit! This offer also applies to gift certificates. There will be some big changes around here come March so this is a great deal! If you or anyone you know is looking for kids or family photography now is the time to start the process and save some money! I have had a few people take advantage so far, and more talking about it. Don’t forget February is the shortest of all months so don’t wait too long!
February is not only my birthday month, but it is also the month for all things hearts and love. I had a great Valentine’s day with the loves of my life. My sweet hubby and little girl. I also got to meet a great couple that I will be blogging later in the week! And on the topic of all things heart I wanted to announce I am now starting to work in more depth with one of my favorite local non profits the Heart Gallery of Oregon.
The Heart Gallery of Oregon is a great organization. They work to pair professional photographers with foster kids available for adoption to create beautiful portraits of the kids. You can learn more about them on their site. They also have gallery openings to display the photos. In fact if you are anywhere near Pioneer Place Mall in downtown Portland this month check out the new display on the second floor. Really these images are moving, and so well done. I have been volunteering as a photographer for the last year, and it is so exciting to be working with the group more doing some design, web & editing work in addition to shooting.
It has been a great month so far, I hope you all are feeling the love too! Lots of photos to blog soon as well.
