helping out with your holiday shopping…

After a few requests this year I have decided to offer gift certificates in my standard line up.

Here is a layout I am working on:

giftcertificate-layout-for-web

I can customize the gift certificate to suite the type of session it will apply to (newborn, kids engagement etc.) and either leave  space for a custom greeting or personalize it for you. We can have them cover, sessions, print or even coffee table books. The sky is the limit. It is also a great way to give a personalized gift for that hard to buy for family member that really has everything.

If you are interested let me know and we can start working on a plan today!

Happy early Turkey Day!

Working with some fun new lighting techniques around here that will help make my coming winter weddings super fun to shoot! I am looking forward to getting out there and stretching my wedding muscles again soon.  Lots of new things going on around here these days, new lighting, and a new website on the way as well. For now the silly outtakes will have to do!

on the road again…

Just a quick FYI, I am out of the office all weekend and will return Monday to business as usual.

It is kind of random but I am on a bit of a road trip to the Seattle area to, get this, buy half a cow! My dear sweet husband has an uncle that has agreed to make us a great deal, so great I am taking a weekend off in the busy season!  Our freezer is all cleaned out and ready to be stocked full of choice cuts.  I am already brewing ideas of stews and cold weather hearty dinners. I feel like I am going back to my farm girl roots!

Anyway this means I will have limited Internet and phone access over the weekend. Please be a little patient with me, I promise I will get back to you as soon as possible. I might even blog a bit about the road trip!

Keeping me on my toes! {Wilsonville Child & Family Photography}

I had a great time with two beautiful sisters and their parents this week. Saying these girls are cute is an understatement. R and E were full of fun and hilarious the entire session. Even if it was a bit cold out. I had a blast chasing down these two and teasing them into smiling for me. I like to think of my kids sessions as play dates, and this one really was.  We ran all over a local park and found all sorts of hidden treasures. I can not wait to finish the entire set.

I had a really hard time picking, but here are a few of my favs so far:

This is Ms E. She likes to make up songs and talk about boogers, that’s my kind of girl!

And this beautiful young lady is Miss R. She kept me on my toes with her sharp whit, she is a smart one for sure!

These two really do have fun together. Some times siblings bicker during a session, not these two they were great for me the whole time. I loved watching them together.

And the whole family. Even Mom & Dad are beautiful, it is almost not fair. I loved the dissipating fog here too, with the bright colors. It is early winter in Oregon for sure.

Someone loves her big sister can you tell. :)

And this one I absolutely had to post. It really does capture our morning, and completely cracks me up!

I had a wonderful time chasing after these two!

Christi thanks so much for calling me to set it all up and being flexible with the weather. I will have the whole set for you very soon. Lots more fun stuff to come. I also thought I would throw in another blog challenge.  If you can get 30 people to post comments on this entry I will give you $25 off a set of holiday cards.
