Scott and Danielle {sneak peek e-session}

    When ever I book a wedding I am honestly really excited. I love everything that has to do with weddings, the tradition, the emotion the details, all of it! I have always been a geeky wedding lover, there I said it.

    I am really excited that wedding season is getting closer. Last weekend I got the opportunity to spend time with one of my 2008 wedding couples. I met Scott and Danielle at their beautiful NE Portland home for an engagement session. They just moved into an amazing new place, it was so fun seeing your pad and meeting your super sweet neighbors. I love doing engagement sessions because it really gives me and the couple time to hang out and get comfortable before the big day. Scott and Danielle were super sweet and even scouted some amazing locations in their neighborhood.

    Check out this fantastic mural just blocks from their house!

    I loved that mural so much, I am totally coming back with other clients.

    And of course we had to get a few with their other furry little loves. Such cute kitties.

    I like to think of this as your first family photo.:)

    It also helps to have subjects that are so in love and affectionate.

    Scott and Danielle I had a blast hanging out with the two of you! I am really looking forward to your wedding this summer. One thing I did notice is that the walls of your new place are a tiny bit bare. I will make you guys a deal. If you can get 25 people to comment below on this blog post I will throw in an 11 x 14 mounted wall hanging print. My vote is for one of the mural shots, I think they would look so cool printed large.:)

    I love the photo of you guys standing in front of the mural. From the looks of these photographs it seems like the wedding day will be captured beautifully. So excited to see you in August.

    Nic - May 28, 2008 - 10:54 am

    Wow! You were right Danielle – those came out great! I love the shot with you both in front of the mural – the color just pops…it’s amazing! And I love the one with you and the kids (cats). My favorite is honestly the one of you and Scott with your eyes closed and in black and white. It makes me think that you both took a picnic or something and closed your eyes against the sun and kinda nodded off into a dream and you’re both thinking about one another.

    Kick ass to the hot models and the (obviously) amazing photographer. :)

    Beautiful pics. If we have a say in which pic is selected- I agree that the mural is the way to go (with the doorway as a second). They are all great though.

    I love all the pictures! If I had to vote, I think I would choose the mural, the kitties, and the eyes closed…I can’t decide which one would win though! Seeing your pictures really makes me miss you guys so much!! CAN’T WAIT until August…

    Diane (mom) Metzler - May 31, 2008 - 3:15 pm

    The colored mural is really fun and would likely look great in a Mediterranean-style condo. I do like the photos with Miu and Petite Henri, but would have liked to see more of Scott and Danielle’s faces. My favorite is the one with them lying next to each other in black and white. It seems you captured quite an intimate moment!
