When ever I book a wedding I am honestly really excited. I love everything that has to do with weddings, the tradition, the emotion the details, all of it! I have always been a geeky wedding lover, there I said it.
I am really excited that wedding season is getting closer. Last weekend I got the opportunity to spend time with one of my 2008 wedding couples. I met Scott and Danielle at their beautiful NE Portland home for an engagement session. They just moved into an amazing new place, it was so fun seeing your pad and meeting your super sweet neighbors. I love doing engagement sessions because it really gives me and the couple time to hang out and get comfortable before the big day. Scott and Danielle were super sweet and even scouted some amazing locations in their neighborhood.

I loved that mural so much, I am totally coming back with other clients.
And of course we had to get a few with their other furry little loves. Such cute kitties.
I like to think of this as your first family photo. 
It also helps to have subjects that are so in love and affectionate.
Scott and Danielle I had a blast hanging out with the two of you! I am really looking forward to your wedding this summer. One thing I did notice is that the walls of your new place are a tiny bit bare. I will make you guys a deal. If you can get 25 people to comment below on this blog post I will throw in an 11 x 14 mounted wall hanging print. My vote is for one of the mural shots, I think they would look so cool printed large.
