    Scott and Danielle {sneak peek e-session}

When ever I book a wedding I am honestly really excited. I love everything that has to do with weddings, the tradition, the emotion the details, all of it! I have always been a geeky wedding lover, there I said it.

I am really excited that wedding season is getting closer. Last weekend I got the opportunity to spend time with one of my 2008 wedding couples. I met Scott and Danielle at their beautiful NE Portland home for an engagement session. They just moved into an amazing new place, it was so fun seeing your pad and meeting your super sweet neighbors. I love doing engagement sessions because it really gives me and the couple time to hang out and get comfortable before the big day. Scott and Danielle were super sweet and even scouted some amazing locations in their neighborhood.

Check out this fantastic mural just blocks from their house!

I loved that mural so much, I am totally coming back with other clients.

And of course we had to get a few with their other furry little loves. Such cute kitties.

I like to think of this as your first family photo. :)

It also helps to have subjects that are so in love and affectionate.

Scott and Danielle I had a blast hanging out with the two of you! I am really looking forward to your wedding this summer. One thing I did notice is that the walls of your new place are a tiny bit bare. I will make you guys a deal. If you can get 25 people to comment below on this blog post I will throw in an 11 x 14 mounted wall hanging print. My vote is for one of the mural shots, I think they would look so cool printed large. :)

    Because we are special

Over the last week I have been working very hard on changing over all facets of “Red Wagon Photography” to the new and improved “emily g photography” I am happy to say I am almost done! To celebrate (you know aside from the happy dance I am doing) I wanted to announce my new name special!

Any new or returning clients that book a session with me before June 30th will receive beautiful leather mini album perfect to tuck into a purse, brief case or back pack to show off some beautiful images from your day. The cute little album holds 10 wallet sized images, I love them. I actually stocked some of them full of a certain redhead and gave them away as mother’s day gifts this year. These perfect little albums are available in a variety of colors. I offer them to clients for $85 filled, but if you book a session before June 30th it is yours on me! Sessions maybe scheduled at a later date, but session fees are due by 6/30 in order to qualify for the special.

Remember returning clients anytime you refer your friends and family to me you get points in our referral program too!

So think about it, if you are in the need of a photo session now is the time. The weather is getting beautiful and you know warm summer evenings are the best light to shoot in! I am excited for beautiful out door kids, families, engagement and maternity sessions. I am still looking for Class of 2009 Senior Reps and you know I have a thing for the babies. I also have a few opening for summer and fall weddings. This summer is going to be great, and I can not wait to point my camera at it all.

Call me or throw me an email today! I would love to hear from you.

    Miss M (senior sneak peek)

This weekend I had the pleasure of spending time with Miss M a beautiful high school senior just about the graduate. We had way too much fun tromping around downtown finding cool locations. I am stoked that this little sneak peek gets to be the first to break the new blog in! Well here you go I hope you like what I have so far.

Check out this cool gold door! And the sassy shoes are pretty cool too.

Oh yes I made her jump High School Musical style, with a location like that I had to!

    Again that beautiful smile. :)

Enjoy your last few weeks of high school M! I can’t wait to show you the rest of the set.

    XO em
